Don't like

I am not that fond of Amazon these days - I ordered something in Septmeber and apparently because of one item and because it qualified for free shipping that I won't be getting my order until possibly January? What is the deal with that - that really sucks - and lately I just haven't been happy with the site and how every thing ships from everywhere
